Project: Animated Illustrations for OG Anunoby Tribute Video - 2021 NBA Broadcast
Client: Rogers Sportsnet
We were asked to create animated illustrations of the key moments for a tribute video for the OG Anunoby game winning shot from 2020. The tribute video which included our animations, aired on live television and in-stadium during the game.

Project: Animated illustratons for NHL All Star Game Introduction Video- 2022 NHL Broadcast
Client: Rogers Sportsnet
We were asked to create illustrated player cards for the key NHL All Star players featured in the 2021 NHL All Star Game. The game was held in Las Vegas and the Producer asked us if we could create a "Sin City" feel to the illustrations. The animated illustrations were used during the introduction video for the game on live television and in-stadium.
This project gave us the freedom to create a entire world of characters and backgrounds for a series of animated children songs. We were provided the audio tracks and worked with the legendary Producer Zack Werner (Canadian Idol) to bring the vision to life.

IAN MCCLUSKEY
OWNER / ANIMATION DIRECTOR
Having been raised by two of the best artists to ever grace OCA (now OCAD), Ian has loved cartooning and animating from an early age and has an impressive repetoir of graphic design and animation experience. Blending his love of sports with animation, Ian has been making sports related animated content since 2009 before teaming up with Mike to form Friendly Bounce Productions in 2019.
In 2014 Ian was the co-creator / co-writer / co-director of a web series pilot "Guru and Goat" starring Gerry Bednob (40 Year Old Virgin) and Deepak Sethi (Family Guy, Brickleberry, Coffee Shop Names) and produced by Mondo Media.
MIKE FREESTONE
OWNER / CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Mike is a versatile creative, having worked in the fields of animation, photography, videography, creative writing, and graphic design. With Cuppa Coffee Studios in Toronto and Big Jump Productions in Ottawa, he worked as an animator and background artist on the Comedy Central show ‘Ugly Americans’. His goal is to create relatable content in the sports world and is thrilled to do this while blending his two passions of Sports and Arts into one with Friendly Bounce Productions.
Outside of the studio, Mike bounces from courts to fields, competing in men’s leagues across the GTA. In 2019 he competed on the world stage in Ball Hockey, representing Team Greece at the World Ball Hockey Championships in Kosice, Slovakia
